Margarita's Baptism

James is the Ward Mission Leader in our ward, and it was through his calling that we were introduced to Margarita. She is a wonderful girl from Colombia that we have developed a great relationship with. Over the past couple of months, Margarita has been taking the missionary lessons in our home. About two weeks ago, we were so excited when she committed to being baptized!! She has developed a great testimony and was totally ready for this next step.

Her baptism was this morning, and it was a wonderful event! Margarita said after her baptism that she felt so happy to be so clean! The full-time missionaries sang a beautiful Hymn in Spanish, and I had the chance to give the talk on the Holy Ghost. Afterwards, we had a little open house with refreshments--we were so pleased that there were so many people there to support Margarita!
